KRON 4 - Cindy Sheehan's Campaign Prepares For Election Day

As election day approaches, the Cindy Sheehan for Congress Campaign, working to elect Sheehan to California's 8th Congressional District seat, is gearing up for a busy day.

"We're going to be out on the streets of San Francisco from sunup to the wee hours on election day, talking to people, connecting with voters, and making the case for Cindy for Congress," said Tiffany Burns, the Cindy for Congress campaign manager. "Of course our opponent, incumbent House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), is nowhere to be found. She's clearly lost touch with San Francisco and the people she represents."

"I'm ready to pull out all the stops on November 4 to win this election," says Cindy Sheehan. "I want to be on the streets of San Francisco listening to voters and connecting with the community the entire day. Since Nancy Pelosi doesn't feel the need to do the same, San Francisco voters have even more evidence that she's the wrong person to represent them in Congress."
